About this cohort
Established in 2009 in Kilite-Awlaelo district, Tigray, northern Ethiopia, across nine rural and one urban kebelle (two further urban kebelles added 2016). Open HDSS of 65,848 individuals in 14,455 households at baseline, with home visits every six months for vital events. Provides demographic and health indicators for international, national and local policy.
