About this cohort

Clinical cohort initiated in 2004 in Kampala, Uganda, of patients starting combination antiretroviral therapy (cART) at Mildmay Uganda. ~859 enrolled at baseline (Apr 2004–Apr 2011), expanded to 1,071 by last follow-up; bi-monthly clinic visits with physician-collected clinical data and low loss to follow-up (3.7%). Evaluates treatment outcomes, retention in care and comorbidities.
