Open HDSS in rural Butaro, northern Rwanda, serving as the main field research platform for the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) covering ~38,000 residents. Integrates household, demographic, mortality, morbidity and health-facility data via a unified participant ID. Hosts nested studies including a Healthy Ageing & Multimorbidity survey (>4,300 adults 40+ in Burera and Kigali) and a birth cohort of 1,200 pregnant women.
